Semi-private sessions run 45-60 minutes with 2-3 clients maximum. Each person follows their own program — you're not all doing the same exercises at the same time. Mike rotates between clients, coaching your form, adjusting resistance, and tracking your progress throughout the session.
Sessions are available Monday through Friday starting at 5 AM at our Mason, Ohio facility. You'll be matched with training partners who are at a similar experience level and share compatible schedule availability.
Before your first session, Mike builds a training plan specifically for your goals and fitness level — separate from your training partners' plans.
Mike observes and corrects your technique every session. You never have to guess if you're doing an exercise safely or correctly.
We track weights, reps, and milestones so you can see your progress clearly over time — not just feel it.
Basic nutrition coaching is included — simple, sustainable habits to support your training results.
Group classes have 10-30 people and one instructor who can't watch your form or adapt to your limitations. Semi-private gives you dedicated attention and a plan built for you — not the group.
1-on-1 training is the most personalized option but also the most expensive. Semi-private gives you 90% of the same benefit at a meaningfully lower cost, plus the motivation of training alongside others.
Most people who train alone plateau quickly, develop bad form habits, or quit. Having a trainer present every session eliminates all three of those risks.
A maximum of 3 clients per session. In practice, most sessions run with 2 clients. We keep it small intentionally — this isn't a group class.
Not quite, but close. Mike rotates between clients throughout the session. You'll receive direct coaching on every exercise, just not 100% of the time.
No. Each client in a semi-private session follows their own custom program. You might be doing lunges while your partner does rows. Same trainer, different plans.
We match you with training partners who have compatible schedules and similar fitness experience levels. You'll meet them at your first session.
Absolutely. Some clients start in semi-private and upgrade to 1-on-1, or alternate between both. We're flexible and can adjust as your needs change.
Yes — many of our semi-private clients are in the 50+ age group. The program structure works just as well for older adults because each person's plan is adapted to their needs individually.
